  一、 教學(xué)內(nèi)容:

牛津小學(xué)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)

  《九年義務(wù)教育六年制小學(xué)教科書(shū) 牛津小學(xué)英語(yǔ)》5A

  Unit 4 Halloween (活動(dòng)課)

  二、 教學(xué)目標(biāo):

  1、 讓學(xué)生通過(guò)收集資料和本課活動(dòng),了解萬(wàn)圣節(jié)的有關(guān)情況。

  2、 通過(guò)介紹風(fēng)俗,學(xué)習(xí)單詞pumpkin lantern,candle,mask,pig,if,能聽(tīng)懂、會(huì)讀、會(huì)說(shuō)這些單詞。

  三、 教學(xué)重點(diǎn):

  讓學(xué)生通過(guò)這節(jié)課的活動(dòng)了解有關(guān)萬(wàn)圣節(jié)的傳說(shuō)、風(fēng)俗,為下節(jié)課的教授對(duì)話作鋪墊。

  四、 教學(xué)難點(diǎn):

  能聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀單詞pumpkin lantern,candle,mask,pig,if。

  五、 課前準(zhǔn)備:

  1、 教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備:讓學(xué)生課前收集萬(wàn)圣節(jié)的資料,每人做一個(gè)面 具。

  2、 教具準(zhǔn)備:錄音機(jī)、磁帶、準(zhǔn)備幾個(gè)面具(**、老虎、狗)

  3、 板書(shū)準(zhǔn)備:在黑板上預(yù)先寫(xiě)好課題Halloween

  六、 教學(xué)過(guò)程:

  Step 1 Free talk

  1. T:Let’s sing a song. We can sing and dance ”together.

  Ss:Sing the song

  2. T:(Greeting)Class begins. Good morning, boys and girls.

  3. T:Do you know what day is April 1st?(Fool’s Day)

  What day is June 1st?(Children’s Day)

  What about October 31st?(Halloween)

  (Teach “Halloween”)

  Step 2 Presentation

  1.T:Halloween falls on the night of Oct. 31st and it gives us a perfect opportunity to have great fun!

  Do you know the origin of Halloween?

  關(guān)于萬(wàn)圣節(jié)的由來(lái),傳說(shuō)最多的版本認(rèn)為,那是源自于基督誕生前的古西歐國(guó)家,主要包括愛(ài)爾蘭、蘇格蘭和威爾士。這幾處的古西歐人叫德魯依特人。德魯依特的新年在十一月一日,新年前夜,德魯依特人讓年輕人集合,戴著各種怪異面具,拎著刻好的蘿卜燈(南瓜燈系后期習(xí)俗,古西歐最早沒(méi)有南瓜),他們游走于村落間。這在當(dāng)時(shí)實(shí)則為一種秋收的慶典,也有說(shuō)是“鬼節(jié)”,傳說(shuō)是當(dāng)年死去的人,靈魂會(huì)在萬(wàn)圣節(jié)的`前夜造訪人世,據(jù)說(shuō)人們應(yīng)該讓造訪的靈魂看到圓滿的收成并對(duì)鬼魂呈現(xiàn)出豐盛的款待。所以篝火及燈火,一來(lái)為了嚇走靈魂,同時(shí)也為鬼魂照亮路線,引導(dǎo)其回歸。

  至于南瓜燈也至少有兩種說(shuō)法。一種說(shuō)是人挖空了南瓜又刻上鬼臉,點(diǎn)上燭火以驅(qū)散鬼魂的;另一種說(shuō)是鬼魂點(diǎn)上燭火,試圖騙取人們上當(dāng)而跟著鬼魂走,所以人們就在南瓜表面上刻上一個(gè)嘲諷的臉面,用以嘲笑鬼魂:哼!傻瓜才會(huì)上你的當(dāng)!傳說(shuō)因?yàn)槭紫扔媚瞎系氖且晃粣?ài)爾蘭人Jack,所以人們又將鬼臉南瓜燈叫做Jack-O-Lantern.
