　　This is a pen and these are pencils. 這是一支鋼筆，這些是鉛筆。（指近處的物品）

　　This is a book. 這是一本書。（指近處物品）

　　This is my friend, Mary. 這是我的朋友，瑪麗。（指近處的人）

　　I like these he likes those.我喜歡這些，他喜歡那些。
