Why Do You Study English?I study English because it is a tool for communication.Our age is an age of communication.We live in a society in which communication has already gone beyond the boundary of a country.If we want to learn more about people in other countries,we have to grasp a tool for com-munication.And English as a foreign language for us is an important tool.Another reason for me to study English that is has become a world languase.For all kinds of reasons,English has spread far and wide.It has been given the status of being an important tool for communication between people from different countries.We don't want to be excluded from the world.we want to com-municate with people in other countries,to get to know their technol-ogy,their culture and their art.And English can help us achieve those goals.These are why I study English.參考譯文：為何學(xué)英語?我學(xué)英語是因?yàn)樗且环N交流工具，我們生活在一個充滿交流的時代，社會的交流已超出了國界。若我們想更多地了解其他國家的人們，就必須掌握交流的工具。英語作為一種外語，對我們來說就是一種重要的工具。我學(xué)英語的另一個原因是它已成為一種世界性的語言。由于各種原因，英語傳播廣泛。它是各國人們之間進(jìn)行交流的一種重要工具。我們不想被世界隔離。我們渴望與各國人民進(jìn)行交流，希望了解他們的技術(shù)、文化和藝術(shù)，而英語能幫助我們達(dá)到這一目標(biāo)，這些就是我學(xué)英語的原因。
