　　to的這兩種含義比較特殊，應重點記憶：

　　1)“歸于，屬于”, 強調(diào)“一對一”的關系。

　　2)“ 隨同,伴隨，按照，配合”。

　　sing / dance to the music隨著音樂唱歌 / 跳舞

　　2. experience

　　1) n. “經(jīng)驗(不可數(shù)), 經(jīng)歷(可數(shù))”。

　　a child's first experience of snow一個孩子對雪的初次體驗

　　Yesterday afternoon Dad was telling me about his experiences as a young man. 昨天下午，爸爸給我講述他年輕時的經(jīng)歷。

　　2) v. “經(jīng)歷, 體驗”。

　　He experienced all sorts of difficulties and hardships. 他經(jīng)歷過各種艱難困苦。

　　3) adj. “有經(jīng)驗的”。

　　He is much experienced in teaching. 他有豐富的教學經(jīng)驗。

　　3. particular

　　1)“特別的，個別的”，強調(diào)與同一團體、范疇或種類的其他部分的分離和區(qū)分。

　　I have nothing particular to do today. 今天我沒有特別的事情要做。

　　2)“挑剔的，苛求的”，通常指過分地注意或涉及細節(jié)和細微區(qū)別。

　　He is very particular about his food. 他吃東西很講究/挑剔。

　　be particular about(講究/挑剔)與in particular(特別地)是比較常用的習慣用法。

　　4. advance

　　該詞的關鍵是要注意它作動詞時的不同含義,記憶時要把握住其本意“(使)向……前/上” ,再按漢語習慣靈活地翻譯。

　　advance the growth of rice促進水稻生長

　　He was advanced to the rank of captain. 他被提升為上尉。

　　As the wages advanced, so did the cost of living. 隨著工資的提高, 生活費用也提高了。

　　另外,它的形容詞形式為：advanced “高級的，先進的”。

　　advanced ideas 先進的思想

　　an advanced text in physics 一本高級物理課本
