關(guān)于環(huán)保的英語作文（高中）
Environmental protection (環(huán)保)
Environmental problems are as big as not for individual country or individual people to address. In other word， we have reached the stage that environmental problems be solved for international view. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
In recent years，many nations have become more aware of the environmental issues each nation faces，such as air and water pollution. The question is，are the environmental issues a national problem or an international problem?It is my belief that the environmental issues have grown to the point of becoming an international problem needing international cooperation to resolve.
Because of the differences in environmental policies，resources and technology，international cooperation could provide quicker results and have a greater impact on bringing resolution to environmental problems for nations of differing environmental policies and of lesser resources and technology. By pooling international resources and technology to address the environmental problems，the disadvantaged nations are provided the assistance needed. Otherwise their environmental conditions deteriorate ultimately affecting the resources and environment of the world as a whole.
How to protect the environment (如何保護環(huán)境)
The world we live in is becoming more and more intolerable because of environmental destruction. Bird flu and Sars are two typical examples that environmental destruction may threaten our life. Besides, forest destruction , water and air pollution result in decrease of planting land and unpleasant weather.
Serious as the problem seems, we can come up with some measures to deal with it. First of all, the authorities should adopt the policy of "sustainable development", and laws concerning environmental protection should be put into effect and enforced strictly just as our government has been doing.
What' s more, every citizen should realize the seriousness of the problem and make concerted efforts to protect our environment. In addition, planting trees helps improve and beautify the environment.
我們生活的世界正變得越來越難以忍受,因為對環(huán)境的破壞. 禽流感和SARS的是兩個典型的例子,對環(huán)境的破壞,可能危及自己的生命. 此外,森林破壞,水和空氣污染導(dǎo)致減少種植業(yè)土地及不愉快的天氣.
嚴重的問題,看來,我們可以得出一些措施來對付它. 首先,當(dāng)局應(yīng)該采取的政策是"可持續(xù)發(fā)展" , 法律和有關(guān)環(huán)保工作應(yīng)該要付諸實施,執(zhí)法不嚴,正如我國政府一直在做的事.
何況, 每個公民都應(yīng)該明白問題的嚴重性,并共同努力,為保護我們的環(huán)境. 此外,植樹有利于改善和美化環(huán)境.
Conserving Water Resource(保護水資源)
Water is indispensable to our life and the development of national economy. It is often described as the source of all living things and the lifeblood of agriculture and industry. Without it, nothing could grow and out world would become a terrible desert.
The world we live in is now faced with a severe shortage of fresh water. According to some official figures, more than 1,700 million people in the world don"t have enough clear water to drink and over 25 thousand people die of water related diseases daily.
So, all of us should actively b save water. It"s our obligation for the benefit of the future generations.
